Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. The objective of the scholarship is to raise the profile of the British social and cultural values in young Americans who will become leaders and opinion formers in the United States. Up to 40 scholarships are awarded annually for one or two years of study at the undergraduate or graduate level at any university in the UK. The average award is £23,000 per year.
Qualifications: be a U. S. citizen, have an undergraduate degree from a U. S. institution by the time you take the scholarship, and have at least a 3.7 GPA after the freshman year. University nomination is required.
