The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a wide range of highly selective scholarships, grants, and fellowships in Germany for USA and Canadian citizens. There are opportunities for graduating seniors, graduate students, and post-docs.

There are many different programs all sponsored by the German government, including summer
research programs, graduate study and mentored independent research.

Varies with the program


Applicants must have a well-defined study plan for their time in Germany and be graduates of USA
or Canadian universities. Language ability must be commensurate with the plans for study or
research; 3.5 GPA;
