Rhodes Scholarships are international postgraduate awards for students to study at the University
of Oxford. Rhodes Scholars are young leaders of outstanding intellect and character who are
motivated to engage with global challenges, committed to the service of others, and show promise
of becoming value-driven, principled leaders for the world’s future.

Amount of Award:
All educational costs, such as matriculation, tuition, laboratory and certain other fees are paid. Each
scholar receives in addition a maintenance allowance adequate to meet necessary expenses for term-time and vacations as well as the necessary costs of travel to and from Oxford.
An applicant must: • For the US process, be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or DACA recipient* •There are Rhodes Scholarships for all other citizenships. • By October 1 of the year of application, be at least 18 but not yet 24 years of age. • Have achieved academic standing sufficiently advanced to assure completion of a bachelor’s degree before October 1 of the year of application. The Rhodes Scholarship requires an institutional endorsement from the University of Mississippi. In order to receive the endorsement you must meet the campus deadline of August 15.
All applicants must submit a complete application by the campus deadline for consideration. International students are often on an accelerated final timeline. The complete application is due
on campus by June 15.
